Wisdom & Naiveté

Name's Joseph. Call me Jo.

I'm a singer and music artist from Brooklyn, New York finding his own way to make dreams come true.

Making the best of what I got. It's not much. Yet. But I'm keeping my eyes on the prize.

Sharing what inspires me, teaches a lesson and makes me laugh.

For all my fellow fools who spit wisdom.

Shake It Out by Florence + The Machine

CeremonialsFlorence + The Machine is one of those acts who reaffirm my faith in the power of music. Florence Welch’s voice practically transports you to a world where music is like food and water.

From her recently released album Ceremonials, Shake It Out stands out for me. It comes right out of the gate strong and maintains forward momentum right through the end.

It’s hard to dance with a devil on your back. So shake him off!

Religious views set aside, it’s such a great lyric! It’s a great song leading into a new year. Shake out the regrets and things torturing you and get back to living life.

Listen to this and fight the urge to smile. I dare you.
